Hydrant Flushing North

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

ANNUAL FIRE HYDRANT TESTING & WATER MAIN FLUSHING

 

This is in the North end of the County

 

The Berkeley County Public Service Water District is undergoing the annual program of exercising fire hydrants throughout the water system. The purpose of this program is to remove sediment and tuberculation from the water mains. This also allows the Water District to do the necessary maintenance and repairs to insure that the Fire Hydrants are working properly.

 

During the next several weeks flushing will take place in the following areas:
Falling Waters, Marlowe, North of Fastlok (old Dupont)

 

This will also include the following areas:
Williamsport Pike (north of Fastlok) (old Dupont), Kimberly Heights, Crawford Quarry Rd., Broad Lane, Brookfield Sub., Muse Street, Smaltz Dr., Northwinds Sub., Downey Orchard Rd., Grade Rd., Marlowe Woods Sub., Amberfield Sub., Pepper Tree Rd., Riverside Village, Parry Dr.

 

This will also include the following Schools:
Marlowe Elementary
