Hydrant Flushing South

 

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

ANNUAL FIRE HYDRANT TESTING & WATER MAIN FLUSHING

 

This area is in the South end of the County

 

The Berkeley County Public Service Water District is undergoing the annual program of exercising fire hydrants throughout the water system. The purpose of this program is to remove sediment and tuberculation from the water mains. This also allows the Water District to do the necessary maintenance and repairs to insure that the Fire Hydrants are working properly.

 

During the next several weeks flushing will take place in the following Communities
From Bunker Hill to the Virginia State Line

 

This will also include the following areas:
Cherry Grove Estates, Bunker Hill Townhouses, Specks Run Rd., Chandlers Glenn Sub., Ridgeway TownHouses, Sacchrin Ln., Fegan Rd.,

The Following Schools
Bunker Hill Elem.
